**CAPE CANAVERAL, US, Oct. 20, 2026 —** SpaceX launched 32 payloads into orbit aboard its Bandwagon-5 rideshare mission early Tuesday morning.[^1]

The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 7:04 a.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.[^2]

Payloads carried on the flight include cubesats, microsatellites and reentry vehicles.[^3][^4] The rocket flew from Space Launch Complex 40.[^5]

**Impact Insight.** Rideshare launch missions enable multiple small satellite operators to split the cost of a rocket flight, removing one of the largest barriers to access for low Earth orbit. Consistent, regularly scheduled rideshare flights reduce launch backlogs and support wider deployment of research, monitoring and communications satellites in near Earth space.
